That's right Ira. These people have been featured repeatedly by our local TV (ABS CBN channel 2). I never thought anybody would be interested in enrolling in Philippine Studies in Russia.

I thought the only people who'd want to learn Tagalog are the children born to overseas Filipinos and guys married to Filipinas. Is this some kind of remnant of Soviet-CPP relations?
